2010 Fri 1st Jan Happy New Year 362
Well, here we are again! Not only is this the beginning of
another year, but the beginning of a whole new decade! So
much to look forward to, so much to hope for, so much to do.
I am not one to make resolutions, I find that they are so
rarely kept and why set myself up for failure at a time when
there is so much hope? Instead, I just take stock of my life
and if I find there are any areas I would like to improve
on, I come up with a couple things that I am realistically
willing to do differently and set a plan to do them. This
may sound like a resolution to some of you, but for me it is
just a plan with a goal. I am very goal oriented so it works
better for me than to just say "I need to exercise more so I
should join the gym". For me, joining the gym only costs
money I don't want to spend and is a short term fix because
I know I won't stick with it. So, with a few goals in mind,
I look forward to the coming year!

2009 Fri 13th Nov Friday Wanderings
Today is Friday, my day for wandering in one way or another.
This was not a day for wandering far and wide, but still,
there was wandering. Hubby and I went into downtown and
walked around hand in hand, stopping into a few shops and
thinking ahead to Christmas a little, which is really not so
far away!
2009 Thu 12th Nov Thankful Thursday...
With Thanksgiving right around the corner, and seeing how
its always on a Thursday, it seemed appropriate to set aside
Thursdays as my "Thankful Day". I have so many things in my
life to be thankful for so I thought it will be a good thing
to choose just one or two to write about each Thursday.
2009 Thu 5th Nov Happy Birthday Dad!
In honor of my dad, on his birthday, I have to give a shout
out to the man who has been my hero, my friend, my teacher,
and my cheerleader for all these years!
