Today is Veteran's Day, a day that has been set aside each year to honor and remember the brave and dedicated service men and women who protect and defend our country. I know that there is a lot that could be said about our country's interests and political agendas among other things, but the fact is that there are men and women who are willing to spend their lives in the service of this country because they believe in what it stands for, and I am grateful to them all.

I believe that regardless of how one feels about the politics of the military and their actions, it is always important to support, and remember, those who preserve our rights to speak up and speak out about our views, to be educated, seek justice, and to live with the everyday freedoms that we often take for granted, but appreciate just the same.

So, today I say thank you...specifically to both my grandfathers, my father-in-law, my uncles, and most recently my cousins-in-law. Additionally, I wish to thank every man and woman, every hero, who served to protect and fight for all of us.
